As I stood on the shore, the revelation of the power and majesty of God overwhelmed me. It’s all His. Every bit of it belongs to the God who created it.
The creative God, Jehovah-Elohim.
The faithful God, Jehovah-Shammah.
The God who never breaks a covenant.
He can’t because, well, He can’t. The thought never crosses His almighty mind. Wrap your head around that. We simply can’t, because we make promises casually and break them consistently. Welcome to the 2012 political season. We become skeptical, even skeptical of God. We find ourselves believing in Him and not quite believing Him. He promises and He will NEVER break the promise. Oh, it may look like the sand is eroding away, but be assured that He alone is God and He alone is faithful. Just be patient. It’s His timing too.
Stand on the shore today and embrace the promises that Jehovah makes…the unbreakable promises.

Thank you for reminding me of His faithfulness today. He never walks away from us. It’s us who turn and go our own way. Thankful today for His love which chases me down!
